Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Nerul – Microgreens Wall

Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Nerul’s students came together and creatively set up a microgreens wall in their school premises. They used waste plastic bottles to construct planters for the microgreens to be grown in. By upcycling their household waste they have successfully implemented what they learned through the Green Schools Campaign’s 2^nd session on Sustainable Waste Management where we taught the students the importance of and simplicity of reinventing useful items out of their waste items at home or at school.
