World Environment Day celebration at Saraswati Mandir Education Society (SMES), Mahim, was conducted and organised by the students under the guidance of their teachers. Master Yash Parkar started with the introduction and importance of the celebration. Miss Aditi Dangi briefed everyone about environment day celebrated worldwide and also stressed upon this year theme ‘Only One Mother Earth’. Miss Shifa Khan made everyone aware about the current environmental problems.

Students also arranged for a plantation drive around the school campus, poster making, slogan making, etc. Finally, they took an oath to preserve their environment. The oath taking was led by Master Shreyank Salunkhe.

In the end the senior supervisor Mrs. Neelima Alchatwar encouraged and filled in the new zeal in the participants.

The entire programme is ably guided by Pavan Sir, Rupali Teacher and Sheetal Teacher.
